Omari Bektemba has worked in Chicago schools, planned communities, and helped create affordable housing. He’s running for alderperson because the 35th Ward deserves someone who understands the issues—and knows how to get the work done.

Right now, Omari is out talking with neighbors and collecting the signatures needed to get on the ballot. Meanwhile, the campaign still has printing bills, organizing costs, and a lot more ground to cover.
